Brittney Irion

Brittney is a doctoral student in the Counselor Education program at the University of Tennessee. She grew up in Conway, Arkansas and received her bachelor’s degree from Hendrix College. She has lived in East Tennessee for 11 years and attended East Tennessee State University for her master’s degree in Couples and Family Counseling. Brittney is passionate about helping individuals feel safe and empowered within their own identities and helping couples thrive in equal partnerships. She is particularly interested in the intersection of spiritual and sexual identities and enjoys helping clients understand and embrace their own sexual identities without shame. In her free time Brittney can be found reading everything from historical romances to presidential biographies. She also enjoys eating good food, drinking good cocktails, and spending time with her family.
