Kai Carico is an intern in the CTC. He was adopted and raised by extended family and grew up in Clinton, TN, then went to UT Chattanooga for undergrad and studied visual art. He then moved to Washington, DC and earned a Master of Divinity degree from Wesley Theological Seminary. After a few years of church work, he decided on a career change and began attending UT to become a professional counselor.
Kai cares a lot about LGBTQ+ advocacy, social justice and equality, and taking care of the earth. In his free time he enjoys playing video games, making art, writing, and going camping.
