LeAnn is a first-year doctoral student in counselor education. She received her B.A. in Psychology and B.S. in Audiology and Speech Pathology from the University of Tennessee. She received her M.Ed in Human Development Counseling, with school counseling specialization, from Vanderbilt University. LeAnn is a national certified counselor as well as a licensed school counselor.
LeAnn utilizes a humanistic, holistic approach and is dedicated to inclusive practice. She believes mental health is a crucial part of overall wellbeing and each individual carries unique experiences, viewpoints, and culture that is intertwined in everything we do. Her experience includes working with youth and their families. Growing up in Anchorage, AK cultivated her love for the great outdoors. In her free time she can be found hiking her lab Koda Bear or exploring new state/national parks.
