Etta Gantt

Etta received her Bachelors of Science in Experimental Psychology at the University of South Carolina. She moved to Knoxville in 2018 to pursue her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and graduated in 2020. Etta is currently working towards her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision at the University of Tennessee. Most of Etta’s experience has been working with children, adolescents, and adults ages 20-30. Etta is trained in using Child-Centered Play therapy for children, ages 3-10. She uses a humanistic approach in counseling and believes building relationships with clients is the first step to help them move towards growth and healing. Etta is passionate about working with clients of all ages and all backgrounds. Etta is LGBTQ+ affirming and is dedicated to practicing inclusive counseling to meet the needs of clients’ unique cultural identities.
