Kirsten is a second-year master’s student in the Clinical Mental Counseling Program at UTK. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Wake Forest University. Kirsten has previous experience working with UTK students through the Care Team in the Dean of Students Office. She is passionate about cultivating a space where clients can grow in self-awareness and self-acceptance. Kirsten has a deep appreciation for the complexity of the human experience and values searching for the meaning embedded within our circumstances and interactions. In her free time, Kirsten enjoys going to thrift stores, making art, hiking, and curating the perfect Spotify playlist.
