Tyler Ricks

Tyler is a student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at UTK. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Kennesaw State University in Georgia. Tyler practices anti-racist, LGBTQ+-affirming, trauma-informed counseling. She offers her clients warmth, empathy, and nonjudgmental, unconditional acceptance. She hopes to encourage her clients to be self-reflective, curious, and authentic as they explore the links between present difficulties and past experiences. This collaborative journey can lead to self-acceptance, resiliency, and increased well-being.
